Project: NAS

My new project: Setup a NAS (Network Attached Storage) System

Project Lian Lief - FTP Server, Web Server, and Torrent Rig

Materials for this project:

My old P3 CPU (800Mhz Processor, 128MB Memory, 200GB HDD)

Intel Celeron 1.3Ghz, 1GB DDR2 533Mhz, 200GB HDD
PSONE LCD Display (To be used as monitor mounted on case)
Acrylic Sheets
Perforated sheets
Alluminun for frame Shuttle Casing- 3/13/2008
Screws


Softwares:

Here are my options: OPEN NAS, OPENFILER for NAS System or maybe I'll make this project as a server and install LINUX or Windows 2003 Server.

- GOS ( Good OS) Operating System

Finally I have time to disassemble my PSONE LCD screen.

1. Remove the thin white cover of the speakers to expose the hidden screws (TL)

2. Unscrew the exposed screw as shown on the image (do the same on the left speaker)

3. All 9 screws were removed.

4. Exposing the multi AV out and power connector (Take note on the few plastic bits @ the bottom of the pics smile

I have no time to design and etch the PCB for CSYNC converter so I decided to use the prototyping board to assemble all the components (Part I).
